Afghan foreign minister Dadfar Rangin Spanta has said Kabul is ready to mediate between Tehran and Washington to help overcome their differences over Iran’s nuclear programme. He added that the Afghan president would visit Iran by the end of May and raise the proposal with leaders there. “I am happy to mediate between the two countries, as Afghanistan is a friend of both Iran and America,” said Spanta.
