Five people were wounded as two rival groups opened fire on each other in the south-eastern province of Khost on the night of March 11. Provincial deputy police chief Mohammad Zaman said that police have detained five people in connection with the attack. Tribes in Khost usually fight over issues of land ownership and forests.
