One killed in mosque blast

Arman-e-Milli is an independent daily run by a group of journalists.

A muezzin [who calls Muslims to pray] was killed and an imam [prayer leader] was wounded when a bomb exploded inside a mosque in the Ghani Khil district of the eastern province of Nangarhar on the night of February 4. A tribal leader said the bomb had been planted by persons unknown under the imam’s mattress in his room in the mosque. The bomb was planted while the imam was attending evening prayers.
