Your victory is not stolen: INEC tells candidate

The Bauchi office of INEC has denied that it robbed a candidate of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), of victory in the April elections.

Sanusi Aliyu Kunde failed in his bid to represent Misau/Dambam Federal Constituency, in the National Assembly, but claimed it was because INEC stole his victory.

Public Affairs Officer of INEC in Bauchi, Fabian Vwamhi, said kunde’s allegation was false.

Vwamhi added that CPC had been informed to stop blaming INEC for the electoral defeat of Kunde.
