The re-scheduled National Assembly elections have taken off in Lagos without major hitches being reported.

At voting units visited by our correspondents, potential voters waited eagerly to cast their votes, despite some long queues. Those who already did said there were no hitches. Voters’ turn-out has ranged from the very good to just fair in parts of the metropolis., we spoke to some of them.
