US soldiers wounded in Zabul

Erada is an independent daily run by the Afghan Media and Resource Centre.

Three US soldiers were wounded in the Dai Chopan district of the southern province of Zabul on December 4, according to Coalition forces. The incident occurred when an improvised roadside bomb tore through the troops’ convoy. The wounded soldiers are being treated at a US mobile hospital at the Kandahar airbase and their condition is said to be stable. The same day, a civilian and a suicide bomber were killed when the former attempted to attack a Provincial Reconstruction Team in the southern province of Kandahar.
