US Congressmen Visit Kurdistan

Kurdistani Nwe issued daily by Patriotic Union of Kurdistan.

Kurdistan parliament speaker Adnan Mufti received American congressional delegates from the Democratic and Republican parties on July 16. The delegates included Christopher Shays (Connecticut) and Peter Hoekstra (Michigan.) The situation in Kurdistan, Iraq and the issue of Kirkuk were discussed. Mufti thanked the US government and its citizens for helping the Kurdish people and liberating the Iraqi people.
