Four people including three women were wounded when unidentified attackers threw hand-grenades at a house in the Surkhrod district of the eastern province of Nangarhar on the night of April 2. A spokesman for provincial police headquarters, Colonel Abdul Ghafoor, confirmed the incident. Meanwhile, police recovered missiles and a large quantity of ammunition during an operation in Nangarhar’s Chaparhar district the same day, provincial officials said.
