Two rockets hit Wardak, no casualties

Outlook is an independent daily published in English.

Unidentified gunmen fired two rockets on Maidan Shar, the provincial capital of the central province of Wardak, but caused no casualties, officials said on May 17. Hafizullah Salam, secretary to the provincial governor, said the rockets were fired from Khowaja Aziz Mountain. He said police defused three other rockets which were found primed at the launch site.
