Three militants killed in Helmand

Three Taleban insurgents were killed in the southern province of Helmand, officials said. Three militants were killed when US-led Coalition aircraft fired Hellfire missiles and dropped a bomb on four rebels at a suspected Taleban camp in the province late on April 24, a US military statement said. “Three enemy fighters were killed and one fled during the airstrike,” the statement, adding that the dead men were believed to have been involved in attacks on Afghan and Coalition forces and in funding terrorism.
