Technocrats proposed for defence and interior ministries

Al-Sabah al-Jadeed is an independent daily paper.

Member of the Kurdish alliance Mahmood Osman said the coalition and other lists would agree to the interior and defence ministries being run by technocrats or parties that are not connected with militias. He stressed the importance of coordination between the two ministries. Osman said the Iraqi government and American forces were to blame for the deteriorating security situation.
