Taleban leader warns Afghans not to work for the government

The Kabul Times is a state-run daily published in English.

A leading Taleban commander, Jalaluddin Haqqani, has warned Afghans not to work with the government or the Afghan or foreign military. In an audio recording released recently, Haqqani said, “We warn all those who work with the government, in the National Army, with the occupation forces or in the administrative system, that they should refrain from doing so.”
