Al-Mada is issued daily by Al-Mada Institution for Media, Culture, and Arts.

President Jalal Talabani said his visit to Syria is intended to help maintain security and stability in Iraq. Prior to the official visit, he said the goal of the trip was to get the support of the Syrian government on issues of security and trade. Both sides are keen to ensure the trip is a success.
