Al-Ittihad is published daily by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan.

President Jalal Talabani met Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki to discuss the current political situation and discussed ways of making the new security plan a success. They discussed all the issues of importance to the Iraqi people on the political and economical level.
