Six Taleban killed in Helmand

Erada is an independent daily run by the Afghan Media and Resource Centre.

Six Taleban militants were killed in a clash with the Afghan National Police in the Kajaki district of the southern province of Helmand on March 31, officials said. A senior provincial official, Mahiuddin Khan, said moment hundreds of Afghan National Police have been deployed to the region, where the situation has now returned to normal. Purported Taleban spokesman Qari Mohammad Yousuf said three provincial police were killed in the clash.
