Six Taleban arrested in Paktika

Anis is a state-run daily published mostly in Dari.

Afghan security forces arrested six Taleban militants in the south-eastern province of Paktika on the night of May 12, officials said. A press officer at the Afghan interior ministry said the local police ambushed a group of Taleban in the Warmamay district, arresting six and seizing weapons and explosives. The militants are being interrogated by local police, added the official.
