Shia judge will try Saddam for Anfal

Kurdistani Nwe is issued daily by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan.

Some 36 Kurdish lawyers have been identified to act on behalf of the victims of the Anfal campaign, Zaman Abda, the head of a support group for those affected by the military operation, has announced. He said he understands that a Shia judge Arif Shaheen will preside over the case.
