Planning Minister to Visit Kuwait

Al-Ittihad is published daily by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan.

Planning minister Barham Salih affirmed that Iraq has good relations with its neighbours, describing Kuwait as a brother and a helpful state to Iraq. He added that there are many ways Iraq and Kuwait can cooperate. He promised to visit Kuwait soon to talk with officials there about Kuwaiti grants and funds to rebuild Iraq. He maintained that after the fall of former Iraqi president Saddam Hussein, Kuwait should ensure good relations with Iraq because Iraq's stability will positively reflect on Kuwait and other neighbouring states.
