Physically challenged law maker elated
The recent election might not have fully met the aspirations of physically challenged Nigerians, but one of them, Adamu Sada, is savouring his election as a legislator.
Sada of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was elected into the Jigawa State House of Assembly to represent Dutse Constituency.
He has been commending voters and the leadership of PDP in Jigawa state for supporting him.
Sada however said he will focus on sponsoring bills to protect other physically challenged Nigerians.
“To whom much is given much is expected” he told Nigerian Election News Report correspondent shortly after collecting INEC’s certificate of return as an elected legislator.
Sada, a graduate of Agricultural Science, moves with a wheel chair, having lost the use of his lower limbs to an illness.
