Pakistani timber smugglers arrested

Anis is a state-run daily published mostly in Dari.

Police in the eastern province of Kunar on November 29 arrested five Pakistani nationals who were smuggling timber across the border, officials said. The deputy police chief of Kunar, Mohammad Hassan Farahi, said they arrested five Pakistanis who were smuggling the timber on ten mules from a forest in Ghaziabad district to the Pakistani side of the border.
