One killed, five injured in Nangarhar blast

Arman-e-Milli is an independent daily run by a group of journalists.

An explosion left one person dead and five others, including women and children, wounded in the Spin Ghar district of the eastern province of Nangarhar late on February 19. A local resident, Mohammad Anwar, said the blast took place in front of a house in the village of Goshtel. A spokesman for the provincial police headquarters, Colonel Abdul Ghafoor, confirmed there had been a blast, and ascribed it to a personal feud. No arrests have been made yet.
