Oil Ministry Denies Gas Canisters Explosive

Al-Mashriq is published daily by Al-Mashriq Institution for Media and Cultural Investments.

The oil ministry denied that it has produced some gas canisters containing explosive materials and said that all factories connected to the ministry produce canisters in line with (safety) standards. Oil products director-general Mohammed al-Aboodi affirmed that dangerous canisters were not produced by the oil ministry and that people should be cautious about buying oddly-shaped canisters.
