No Arab Troops in Iraq

Al-Mashriq is published daily by Al-Mashriq Institution for Media and Cultural Investments.

Interior minister Bayan Jabur al-Zubaidi said secret talks with armed groups indicate they are prepared to lay down their weapons and participate in politics. He denied that any Arab nation is sending troops to Iraq, saying it was only a rumour. As for the nine coast guard members arrested by Iranian forces, he said the issue would be solved through diplomatic channels.
