New Security Plan

Al-Mashriq is published daily by Al-Mashriq Institution for Media and Cultural Investments.

The interior ministry announced a new joint security plan with the defence ministry to respond to any potential terrorist acts after the electoral results are released. A ministry source said the ministry prepared in a joint meeting with the defence ministry to derail any violent act. The security forces will have a strong presence in all tense areas and will have mobile and set check points. A special security unit has been formed to supervise the new plan, which is based on intelligence.
