Al-Mada is issued daily by Al-Mada institution for Media, Culture, and Arts.

Despite the fact that most political bodies protested the election results, they agreed to make the political process successful by forming a national unity government. This government will contain different spectrums of Iraqi politics. Sheikh Diyaaldin al-Fayyadh, a member of the United Iraqi Alliance, said there is an agreement regarding federalism in Iraq and that the political parties recognise this. Most political parties are ready to vie for seats in the government based on the election results.
