Mishhadani Calls for Emergency Funds for Displaced

Al-Sabah al-Jadeed is an independent daily paper.

Parliamentary speaker Mahmood al-Mishhadani appealed for an international donor conference to raise money to help countries hosting displaced Iraqis. He also called on Muslim groups and international organizations to immediately provide aid to these refugees. A strong government and the rule of law was the only way to solve recent security problems, he said.
