Maliki Meets Islamic Party Leaders

Tareek al-Shaab is issued by the Iraqi Communist Party.

Iraqi premier Nouri al-Maliki met the leaders of the Iraqi Islamic Party and discussed the new security plan and the need for all political factions to support it in order to provide peace and stability. Maliki also stressed the importance of confronting criminals, prioritising human rights, safeguarding innocent civilians and finding better ways to get displaced people back to their homes.
