Prime Minister Noori al-Maliki has criticised those who condemned the execution of Saddam on December 30. In a speech on the 86th anniversary of the formation of the Iraqi army, Maliki threatened to review relations with any state or organisation that did not take the will of the Iraqi people into consideration in relation to the execution. He said he was astonished by statements made by some foreigners, who forgot how cruel Saddam was when he was in power for 35 years.
