Local commanders controlling Balkh buildings

The head of the Urban Development and Housing Department of the northern province of Balkh said that government officials in Balkh have not managed to take dozens of government buildings from local commanders. “Only four such buildings have come under the control of government over the past four years,” he said. The official made these comments on the second week of the accountability process in the province.
