Kurdistan make planes

Abdullah Ghoolam Hussein, director of the professional institute for industrial engineering, has said a memorandum of understanding will be signed soon for a Jordanian-Canadian commercial venture to set up an aircraft factory. Hussein said the factory will manufacture small planes for agricultural use as well as four-seater passenger aircraft. The new venture will be called the Kurdistan Association for Aircraft Manufacturing. The project will cost 116 million US dollars, and should be completed in two years.
