Killers of TV manager said to be caught

Al-Ittihad is published daily by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan.

The al-Iraqia satellite channel announced on March 13 that police had captured the killers of the station’s director, Amjad Hameed Hasan, and his driver Anwar Turki. The arrests were made near Abu Ghraib. In a separate development, the defence ministry says it has uncovered plan by al-Qaeda to occupy the Green Zone area of Baghdad. No details of the plot were given.
