Karzai shifts governors around

Hewad is a state-run daily published mostly in Pashto.

Afghan president Hamed Karzai on March 15 replaced the governors of Paktika and Laghman provinces. According to a presidential decree, Mohammad Akram Khepalwak becomes governor of the south-eastern province of Paktia, while Gulabuddin Mangal is transferred from Paktika to the eastern province of Laghman, where he replaces Shah Mahmood Sapai.
