Al-Mada is issued daily by Al-Mada institution for Media, Culture, and Arts.
The prime minister's counselor Sami al-Askari said Sunday that three Iraqi brigades from the north and south would deploy in Baghdad to counter the threat of civil war. He said the deployment was part of a long-term plan to have Iraqi forces controlling the security situation in the capital with multi-national forces securing neighbouring areas.
