Iraq asks Australia for wheat compensation

London-based Azzaman is issued daily by Saad al-Bazaz.

The Iraqi ministry of trade has asked the Australian Wheat Board for compensation for last year’s shipment of 420,000 tonnes of wheat containing iron filings. The issue was discussed in Cairo where a ministry delegation met with the AWB to review their business relationship.
