Interior Ministry Changes

Al-Sabah al-Jadeed is an independent daily paper.

The ministry of interior has begun to replace a number of high-ranking officials. The news follows an announcement by Jawad al-Bolani, the minister of interior, of planned changes to the ministry - a move that was welcomed by Prime Minister Maliki.

Parliament has several times called on the ministry to institute such reforms.
