Interior Minister Talks to Baghdad District Officials

Interior Minister Jawad al-Boolani has met notables and clerics of Baghdad’s Adhamiya neighbourhood. He praised their patriotic spirit in helping the interior ministry impose security and stability in Iraq generally and in Adhamiya in particular. He was briefed in detail about the security situation in Adhamiya and the reasons why certain violations had happened, and was told that clashes between locals and security forces were a reaction to the latter’s behaviour. The Adhamiya representatives praised the new security plan that targets terrorists and those forces seeking to ignite sectarian war. The minister called on all Iraqis to help rebuild Iraq and increase stability.
