Head of Electoral Commission Accused of Embezzlement

Al-Mada is issued daily by Al-Mada Institute for Media, Culture and Arts.

Judiciary sources declared on July 17 that the investigation judge of the integrity committee has issued an arrest warrant for Adil al-Lami, executive director of Iraq's electoral commission. The source said that Lami and a number of electoral commission employees were involved in a contract with (Ramn) company, which the source said was fake. He said they will be charged with embezzlement.
