Fuel tanker set ablaze on Nangarhar-Kabul highway

Islah is a state-run daily published mostly in Dari.

Unidentified armed men burned a fuel tanker on the Nangarhar-Kabul highway on the night of April 2. The tanker was supplying oil to the Coalition Forces in Kabul. The Afghan interior ministry confirmed the news, saying that the incident happened at around 7:30 on Monday night. Police have taken the driver of the tanker and three of his companions into custody and they are under interrogation.
