French Engineer Abducted

Al-Mada is issued daily by Al-Mada institution for Media, Culture and Arts.

Iraqi police announced that unknown armed groups abducted a French engineer who works in the field of water. A police source who asked not to be named said that armed groups stopped the engineer in al-Mansoor area and took him to an unknown location. He added that the documents found in his car indicate he is a French engineer working in the Rasafa water purification station. The abducted rented a house in al-Mansoor city, and the landlord affirmed he is French. The French embassy in Baghdad did not confirm the news.
