Four militants killed in Helmand

Erada is an independent daily run by the Afghan Media and Resource Centre.

Four Taleban militants were killed in a clash with the Afghan police in the Nawzad district of the southern province of Helmand on April 5. The clash erupted when the provincial counter-narcotics police force were on their way to the district to eradicate opium poppies. Habibullah, a senior provincial official, said police seized a large quantity of arms and ammunition from the militants in the clash.
