Afghan police deported a group of seven foreign women who had been arrested and accused of immoral acts, officials said on May 17. Abdul Jabar Sabit, a legal adviser to the Afghan interior ministry, said that the women were detained along with three men at guesthouses in the 4th and 10th districts of Kabul. The police also recovered weapons in their possession. He said the women were deported to their own countries while the men are under interrogation.
