() The ministry of agriculture in the Kurdistan region has purchased five agriculture planes for 930,000 dollars. Tahsin Namiq, deputy minister for agriculture, said the planes arrived in Sulaiminayh. A German company, which the government had an agreement with, brought the planes, he said. He also said that in addition to helping agriculture, the planes can help put out fires. The deputy confirmed that they have built an airport for agricultural affairs near Sulaimaniyah and trained pilots.
