Explosions rock Kabul

Anis is a state-run daily published mostly in Dari.

One civilian was killed and two others wounded when two bombs went off near the Afghan Quick Reaction Force Unit in Kabul’s 10th district on the night of April 25, the force’s commander, General Mahboob Amiri, said. However, according to Farooq Hassas, the police chief in the 10th district, only two civilians were injured by the blasts. The Quick Reaction Force Unit is located near the Kabul International airport. ISAF forces cordoned off the site shortly after the explosions.
