Enhancing Arab-Kurdish Fraternity

Al-Ittihad is published daily by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan.

Upon receiving al-Huriya satellite channel, president Jalal Talabani called for adopting Arab-Kurdish fraternity and strengthening brotherhood for Iraqi national unity. He described the channel as Iraqi Kurdish television providing a platform for presenting Kurdish and Iraqi issues to Arab viewers. He advised the staff to use experts from different ethnicities to improve the channel. He also suggested that they address Kurdish women's issues and their legal demands for equality with men. He showed his readiness to support the channel by providing technical equipment.
