Editorial: Hope of Iraqis

The Iraqi people remain on hold until leaders agree on which parties will hold the security ministries. The people realize that stability is tied to the fact that everyone will lose if security remains unstable and that Iraq's interests should come first. Better security and national reconciliation is a gateway to rebuilding this resource-rich country. The country will lose its wealth, and every plan to begin rebuilding will remain fruitless as long as the people are under threat and controlled by criminals. Each day passes with an incomplete government, (because the leaders have not agreed on permanent ministers for national security, defence and the interior.) This delay draws pain and fear on the faces of children and the youth, and hope can no longer be the medicine treating this continuous pain.
