District office attacked in Logar

Hewad is a state-run daily published mostly in Pashto.

Two rocket-propelled grenades hit a district office in the central province of Logar on the night of May 5, but caused no casualties, officials said.

Mohammad Zahir, a senior provincial official, confirmed the incident, blaming the enemies of peace and stability for the attack. Police have launched a manhunt but have not arrested anyone yet.
