Clerics Association Calls Iraqi Army to Liberate Iraq

Tareek al-Shaab is issued by the Iraqi Communist Party.

The Muslims Clerics Association called Sunday for the leadership of the former Iraqi army to end the occupation. The association said the country would not have its freedom and dignity restored until the former army, dissolved by the ex-civil administrator Paul Bremmer, was re-established. Foreign states have meddled in the internal affairs of the country because of the absence of a strong army, the association added.
