Bush and Maliki Discuss New Security Plan

Al-Sabah al-Jadeed is an independent daily newspaper.

President Bush and Iraqi premier Nouri al-Maliki spoke to each other on the phone on Saturday about political and security issues in Iraq. Bush talked about the means of tackling the roots of the insurgency in order to put and end to acts of violent. Bush underlined his support for Maliki and pledged to help make the new security plan for Baghdad a success.
