Border Closure Key to Security Plan

Al-Sabah is a daily independent publicly,owned newspaper.

Deputy Prime Minister Salam al-Zubai said the government intended to close the country's borders with the start of the new security plan, which he said would have no time limit. He declined to reveal any details of the plan but indicated that one of its main aims would be to prevent would-be insurgents entering the country.

He insisted that suicide bombers were foreigners because ordinary Iraqs disapproves of such barbarian acts.
