Barazani Calls on Politicians to Meet in Kurdistan

Al-Sabah al-Jadeed is an independent daily paper.

Kurdistan region president Masood Barazani has called on Iraqi politicians again to meet in Kurdistan to solve the stalemate over forming the Iraqi government. He said that Kurds should play key roles in Iraq, noting that what happens in Baghdad affects (Iraqi Kurdistan.) He added that they will reject any constitutional amendment (sacrificing) Kurdish rights. He expressed his readiness to help other regions understand Kurdish autonomy and use it as a model.
